For those who don’t know, Misogi is a Japanese concept that says deep happiness doesn’t come from avoiding hardship, it comes from choosing your hardship, then overcoming it... to prove to yourself what you’re truly capable of. Comfort is dangerous. Too much comfort creates a “soft life”, and a soft life slowly kills your edge. Misogi is about stepping into something so uncomfortable, so demanding, that you truly have a 50/50 chance of success. That’s where real growth lives.
And mine? Mine was building my F&B challenge from zero experience, with a 5-year target to scale it into a $100 million USD business. And Alhamdulillah, last year alone, I managed to set up 4 extremely successful F&B brands. That was my Misogi.
